The String Between Grief and Love

When he left her broken, she didn't know she had just awoken.

Blinded by grief and the pain of her broken faith, she continued living but couldn't call it so.

Lost friends, lost love, lost home.

A home she could no longer call her own.

She fell in love again on the way, and fearlessly so.

She gave him everything she had, never settling for anything less.

She should have seen it coming, she got her heart broken again.

On her feet, she rose again.

Rose stronger and wiser than ever before.

She learned that life is all about loving the wrong people until you finally get it right.

Don't allow anything to shatter your faith.

Today, she means to thank the first boy for leaving her broken.

Because then, I would have never awoken.
