Take a break.

Do you ever just feel like you need to take a break and get away from everything and everybody in your life? Everyone feels that once in a while when things get too chaotic, stressful or overwhelming. And just like everyone else, I felt it too. The stress of online school and keeping friendships in my school steady really crept on me. So, my family and I went for a little stay-cation to a hotel for a few days and it was the best I had ever felt in a while.

Everybody deserves a break to detoxicate from reality. Asking for one isn't selfish of you to do, it's called practising self-care. You need to put yourself first especially during these times. Don't let anything or anybody change that. I know that practising self-care is easier said than done but if you put that 3 per cent of extra effort into it, I promise you, you'll feel like a million bucks.

If you feel it's unsafe to go anywhere right now, that's okay! You can always take a break from home. Switch off your phone and stay at home. Binge on a good TV show, watch a couple of good movies and just relax.

I felt much better and stress-free after my break and I recommend it to everyone.
